Clean Mining uses a non-toxic, non-flammable and water-soluble solution that removes cyanide as the primary means of leaching gold in medium to large-scale mining operations. The gold recovery reagent’s success rate in leaching gold from certain ores—e.g. carbonaceous—is 50% more compared to cyanide.

Ore collected from gold mines → Gold dissolved using non-toxic reagent → Gold is recovered from the ore using resin →

1. Ore is cleaned and recovered from extraction → Cleaned ore is buried back into the earth

2. Extracted gold is further refined for smelting → Molten gold is poured into moulds producing bars of bullion. Any leftover reagent is recycled and reused.
