Traditional Mining

  • Our traditional solution is a replacement for current practices of using toxic cyanide in agitated leaching tanks.
  • Dry feed from the grinding circuit is added to a re-pulp tank with our solution. Slurry will overflow into leaching tanks with a residence time dependant on the site’s ore leaching kinetics.
  • Resin is used to absorb dissolved gold in replacement of carbon. After leaching the slurry is dewatered to recovery as much barren solution as possible.
  • Reagent concentrations are measured by a simple titration or more sophisticated online analysis to determine the amount of reagents required to top up concentration to leaching conditions.
  • This topped up solution is then fed back into the re-pulp tank to recycle the reagent and minimise wastage.
  • Dry stackable tailings are produced in this process.
  • The elution process is completed at atmospheric temperature and pressure with our elution reagents.
  • Finally, our precipitate reagent is added to the pregnant eluant to produce a gold precipitate which is dried and added to normal smelting fluxes to produce a gold dore bar onsite.

Concentrate

  • Our Concentrate solution is a direct replacement for toxic cyanide using an intensive leach vessel.
  • Gravity gold is collected in a processing plant using traditional concentration methods. This concentrate is added to a reaction vessel with our solution and left to leach gold for the desired period of time.
  • After leaching, the pregnant leach solution is recovered and treated with our precipitate reagent to create a gold precipitate.
  • This precipitate is dried and added with normal smelting fluxes to create a gold dore bar onsite.

Artisanal Hubs

  • Our Artisanal solution works on a hub concept, where ore is brought to a centralised processing facility for fine gold recovery.
  • Ore preparation for our solution is no different to current practices for leaching including removing large visible chunks of gold by panning or shaking tables.
  • We aim to minimise wastage so our reagent can be re-used and recycled so it is important the feed into the leaching circuit is as dry as possible. This can be as simple as leaving in the sun to dry or using specialised equipment such as filter presses or centrifuges.
  • Following this the ore, leaching reagent and resin are added for batch leaching with agitation. The gold is absorbed onto the resin which can be coarse screened for recovery.
  • A second finer screening is used to separate the ore, which can now be disposed of, and the solution, which can be used for the next leaching batch.
  • Gold recovery from resin is completed at atmospheric temperature and pressure.
  • Our precipitate reagent is added to this eluant creating a gold precipitate which can be smelted to produce a gold dore bar.
